Rivieras robotics program uses robots to  introduce students to the following areas:

• Computer Science(programming/coding)
• Engineering
• Problem solving
• Teamwork
• Technology

Students in the robotics program will be engaged with numerous hands on projects and challenges to work their way through,as well as being given the opportunity to compete in various robotics competitions at both the local and national levels.

Robotic platforms(types of robots) used in the robotics program include:

• Lego EV3 and NXT
• Vex EDR and Vex IQ
•  Various Arduino controlled models
